Eness Provide Wealth of Light
to Adam Smith

When it came to the design of external lighting for the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy, Eness Lighting developed a solution that even the world’s greatest economists would be proud of.

Using advanced LED technology and market leading Ara LED uplighter, Eness Lighting has designed and supplied a stunning solution that achieves the perfect balance of sympathy and accentuation.

Eness Lighting’s Design Director, David Cessford, explained, “The intricate features on the façade presented a real design challenge particularly as the listed building status prevented any luminaires being fitted to the walls.”

He continued, “By carefully positioning the uplighter luminaires and controlling the direction of the LED beam, we have arrived at a solution that creates an imposing feature of the building with some of the most efficient technology on the market today.

The Ara fitting features 30 high performance LEDs which deliver a superb level of light whilst only consuming 42Watts per fitting and offering up to 15 years of maintenance free light.

It is safe to say that Adam Smith would be very pleased with the extraordinary efficiencies demonstrated in this project!!
