Eness Deck the Halls with LED Technology

Eness Lighting has demonstrated the extraordinary capabilities of its LED luminaires at the historic Caird Hall in Dundee.

The company has developed an enviable reputation for harnessing the full potential of LED technology and developing a range of luminaires that achieve not only stunning lighting solutions but also sound practical and security benefits.

The Caird Hall project in Dundee features no fewer than 14 of its Leo LED spotlights with full RGB colour changing facilities which replaced the previous QL fluorescent luminaires.

Eness Lighting’s Design Director, David Cessford, explained, “The client was looking to take advantage of the enormous efficiencies that LED technology could offer whilst injecting an element of colour that would make a real feature of the lighting as well as being functional and practical.”

He continued, “Not only were we able to provide fully programmable RGB colour changing facilities, we were also able to dramatically reduce the energy consumption from the 80/160 Watt per fittings to the 42 Watts required to drive each LEO. In addition, the client will now enjoy up to 15 years of maintenance-free lighting thanks to the superb life cycle of LED technology.”
