Superb, Secure and Green

Eness has designed, developed and delivered this superb energy efficient external lighting solution for a Fife primary school.

The Scorpius luminaire delivers brilliant white light around key areas of the building providing pinpoint excellent clarity and colour rendition for the security cameras that traditional sodium
lamps cannot match. As a direct result of this installation the school has seen vandalism reduce dramatically.

Eness’ latest version of the Scorpius luminaire consumes just 36 Watts with a life expectancy of 15 years (or 50,000 hours) based on a 10 hour burning day.

This is enabling clients to achieve energy savings of up to 70% by reducing their kwH as well as cutting their CO2 emissions and fulfilling their legislatory obligation.

A key feature of the new Scorpius is the incorporation of high specification lighting controls, such as PIR, which allows further savings to be achieved. This is made possible due to LED’s ability
